Get it out of your head!

All too often we have a million tasks to do and don’t know where to start. Today’s tip is about getting the right headspace before we even tackle the never-ending to do list.

So, write everything you’ve got to do down, no matter how big or how small, the more we try and keep things in our head, the more pressure we can feel and the less productive and therefore creative we can be.

Whether it’s a notebook, app or spreadsheet, start a to do list. How you split the tasks is up to you, you might try splitting it into work and personal or today and everything else, the important thing is to be religious in adding everything to the list as soon as it pops into your head.

I use Remember The Milk which is an app and a web browser which update seamlessly and I always have sticky notes next to my bed for those enlightened moments as your trying to fall asleep.
